The Workshop Electronics and Programming, situated in room C.01, location Gedempte Zuiderdiep, is a result of merging the former Digital Arts Lab (master) and a part of the Workshop Media (bachelor). This workshop is managed by Corneel Canters and Josien Niebuur.
In the Workshop Electronics and Programming students can get support in programming (e.g. Max/MSP Jitter, processing) and in the realization of their own projects and experiments with new technologies, electronics and 3D printers. With new technologies we mean microprocessors (Arduino, Raspberry Pi), robotics, E-Textiles, wearables, sensor technology, 3D printing, etc.
The workshop has a fully equipped electronics corner and a comprehensive set of basic tools and equipment to build the most complicated circuits and electronic projects.
